VITA

Works of Chagall and Gauguin with their bright colors have fascinated me during my childhood, but also abstract pictures by Informel artists such as K.O.Götz, who lived in my hometown Aachen. During my youth I got to know many - now world-famous -originals of US art from the 1960 onwards, which the internationally wellknown art collector couple Irene and Peter Ludwig exhibited since 1970 in their museums "Neue Galerie - Sammlung Ludwig" and the "Ludwig Forum for International Art" in Aachen. I spent many hours there for artistic autodidactic formation and apprenticeship. Later I continued this type of study, in addition to taking part in a variety of art workshops and also I studied art on study trips to contemporary art museums in Europe, USA and Australia. In 1975 I began a continous artistic training by learning different painting techniques. Since 1999 I am working with acrylic on canvas. After my career as an Individual psychologist for about 30 years , I have been dedicating myself since 2014 exclusivly to creating art in my studio in Barcelona. I am a member of the artist association Associació Sant Lluc per l’Art, Mataró/Barcelona. Many of my paintings are situated in private collections in Germany, Spain, France, Luxembourg and USA , as well in public institutions.

I am specially influenced by the work of Marc Chagall, Jackson Pollock, Fernando Zobel, Jean Miotte, Judit Reigl and Gerhard Richter.
